Whole Nature Journal

The Whole Nature Journal publishes nature-focused research, articles, and creative writing. Our scope spans indigenous views of nature relationship, peer-reviewed scientific journals, animal welfare and advocacy, and poetry. Contact us if you are interested in contributing or subscribing.

Eco-Spiritual Education

Whole Nature provides and supports ecospiritual education in various forms, such as the Enatured® method, and support for educators from pre-school through learning in retirement.

Enatured® is a simple but profound method to commune with land, and the beings of the land, wherever you are. It draws from mindfulness, indigenous practices, psychology, and scientific research about nature.

Animal-Human Bond

Whole Nature delivers programs that deepen our understanding of the powerful interconnection between humans and animals. Our members work with universities, such as Columbia University Teachers College, Spirituality Mind Bond Institute, and animal sanctuaries, such as the Catskill Farm Animal Sanctuary. We welcome partnerships. Contact us for more information.

We would be glad to! Contact us for planning and options.

We believe in the spirit of the land. We honor nature as a community of beings, not as a resource to be managed for human consumption. These are not new concepts. They are fundamental to indigenous cultures everywhere. Nature, and the creatures that make up the family of nature, are imbued with life force, a sacred spark that goes beyond simple biology. We all have a role to play in communion with each other. We view Earth as a holy place.

The Enatured® method helps us engage our environments for mutual relationship, support, and restoration. It is a meditative and observational practice that recognizes, protects, and fosters the relationship between humans, animals, plants, elements, and land. More information here
